The Informal Review is a collaborative project creating a platform to debate and record news, ideas, reflections and ephemera of people and place. It aims to facilitate a broader, interdisciplinary discussion of people and place (encompassing sociology, environmental science, psychology, design, health studies, sociology, engineering, history, art, economics…) from a critical / exploratory / investigative / provocative perceptive.
The truth may be puzzling. It may take some work to grapple with. It may be counter-intuitive. It may contradict deeply held prejudices. It may not be consonant with what we desperately want to be true. But our preferences do not determine what’s true — Carl Sagan
